Profresso API v1 is here - Build on top of your espresso data

We're excited to announce the Profresso REST API, giving developers and tinkerers direct access to the platform.

What you can do:

  1. Read public data: browse community profiles, shots, coffees, and trending content Manage your library create and list your own profiles, shots, and coffees programmatically

  2. Import shot data push raw machine data from Gaggimate, Gaggiuino, and Visualizer (CSV/JSON) directly via the API

  3. Community stats pull trending profiles and platform-wide statistics

Developer experience:

  1. Simple Bearer token auth with prof_ prefixed API keys

  2. Generate up to 5 keys from your Settings page, with flexible expiry options

  3. Consistent JSON error responses with clear error codes
